I tasted barbecue all over town to decide where to order the food for my father's big 70th birthday party. I knew his whole church would be coming and they know a few things about barbeque. Well, in the end I decided to go with Stephanie Perry. I'm so glad I did. Her smoky barbequed chicken, crisp-skinned links, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and tender brisket had the whole crowd talking. She even brought extra sauce, spicy and mild, for guest to enjoy with the meat. Yum.

One guest, who had tasted her barbeque before, even recognized her work by taste alone. In addition, Stephanie was a joy to work with. She met with me in advance and customized the order to my exact needs. She showed up right on time, with perfect food, at a very competitive price. Do yourself a favor, and hire this woman to make your next party a scrumptious affair you and your friends won't soon forget.

We had used Perry's Catering once before for a small sit down dinner and they were fantastic which is why we didn't hesitate when it came to choosing a BBQ caterer for my son's graduation party. Not only do they cater for all age groups but for all varieties of appetites as well. They were thorough and great value for the money. We will definitely recommend and use them again.

A double winner! One warning, though: Perry's candied yams may be habit forming. They rare sweet, that sugary, that mind- bendingly good. True, Perry turns out mean ribs, as well as chicken with a delectable barbeques sauce, and a great potato salad, but in the end, the yams might distract you from all else. It's almost impossible to stop eating them once you get started. They are coated in a caramel-colored sugary, thick syrup, which forms, at times a crispy crust. There's a hint of spice to them and you can see a bit of cinnamon on their surface, but the spice doesn't overpower the flavor of the yams themselves. No Matter where you live in the East Bay, Perry's candied yams are worth the trip.

The food is high quality with a down-home taste, the presentation is thoughtful and creative and the service is always warm and professional. I can't imagine throwing a party without Stephanie's help - she takes the stress and anxiety out of the process, allowing me to enjoy my guests.

To start, any BBQ place that wants to challenge for Best of the Bay Area has to have good meat and good sauce. Perry's has both. Tender, juicy ribs that are prepared with a delicious pepper rub and tangy, barbeques sauce in mild, medium and hot varieties. This place KILLS Everett and Jones in the meat/sauce department

We had this great soul food catered in for our office and everyone is still raving about how good the food is and especially the Peach Cobbler. The food is definitely worth the price.

I don't eat meat, so I can't comment on their specialty. I do eat fish though and I have to say that the seasoning that they put in the breading is delicious! More than one type of fish too: Snapper, Catfish, Sole, and Prawns.

Second year in a row - it was fantastic! Thanks for making our yearly July 4th party so memorable. We can always breathe easy knowing you and your team will be there to do such a great job. Everyone loved all the food. We thoroughly enjoyed the mac and cheese, red beans and rice and I think everyone's favorite - the traditional ox tails (there wasn't much left).

Until next year - Thanks so much!

I just wanted to say Thank You! The food was fantastic! Everyone raved about the sauce and how good the meat was. There was PLENTY of food for the 35 guest that came, when I only invited 23 people. There was plenty of potato salad and greens to go around. So Thanks again for your excellent skills and for making my sister's 60th birthday party a huge success!!!

Thanks again for everything!
